Jodi Barendregt (nee Merritt) became interested in photography ten years ago when she took a photography course at Wilfrid Laurier University. Since then, she had the opportunity to work with professional photographer Angela Kloepfer, of Mode Photography, before starting her own business in 2000.
Her style is photojournalistic in nature, which means she is able to catch candid moments as they naturally happen; although she has a flair for posing people in just the right light so that they not only look their best, but feel comfortable and relaxed as well.
